In the middle of mid-winter break;I hanged out with my sweet girl-friend (lol, not a RL GF), Yvonne. She is such a klutz, but really adorable at times or annoying at the same time. I slept over her house two days straight, it was fun!
First night, we hanged out all night at the city- ate in St.Marks at Oh! Taisho to celebrate Valentines Day; mainly because we didn't have boyfriends to spend it with...;; But I tried on my first contacts yesterday, which were GEO nudy purple-- I really like it! (I'm on the right in the picture)
The second day, we went to the infamous Staten Island Mall- and I had the worst Mall experience ever! Everyone looked the same, same hairstyle, clothes and language-- so weird. Her father came to pick us up, and that was a hilarious event! She ended up yelling at him for the tiniest thing, but I understand- I mean I do that with my own father as well. That night we had a big dinner, after that we watched Underworld II and III downstairs, namely because we couldn't find the first one... and that I wanted to watch some violent and horror genre.
(Me; Left : Yvonne; Right)I didn't cut my hair, btw. A picture we took before we left her house on the third day. We came out looking 5 years younger, so that would make us about tweleve? haha-- We went to Happy Time Cafe in Chinatown. We got the rice noodle and Taro soup- honestly, I didn't like it- it was too sweet for me- so Yvonne finished it all. I feel like such a man next to her--
Before I left her house, she packed me with Chinese New Year crackers that her Aunt made- They are really good- I forgot the name of it, but on the left is a deep fried cracker made from a fruit- it takes a lot like Waffles. The right is a Shrimp chips- all made with love and scratch! Her aunt has some talents! Yvonne is going to learn how to make them soon- just for me~~
Also! I've saw the cutest showcase in the world at Soho! It's from BEBE- wouldn't have guessed but the display was very cute and lovely- which also reminded me that I was Valentine-less this year.
